A cantora moçambicana Mónica Matlombe lançou ontem, sábado, um single musical intitulado Phula Malho. O acto teve lugar no Centro Cultural Municipal Ntsindya.
Estavam convidados os artistas Chico António, Matilde Conje, H2O e Jhon Mito.
Mónica começou a sua carreira no ano 1997. no mesmo ano teve participação num programa de novos talentos realizado pela Televisão de Moçambique, apresentado por Gilberto Mendes, tendo sido finalista.
Em 1998 participou num programa para novos talentos realizado pela Televisão de Moçambique por Victor José, denominado VJ Show obtendo a posição de segundo classificado.
Em 1999 foi corísta de Chico António e trabalhou com vários músicos como Amável Pinto, Zeca e Davo.
Uma das suas músicas com tema “ Ntwanano” foi classificada para as dez mais no Top Feminino 2001.
